Friday Feature: The Novogratz

 Most of you may already be familiar with Bob and Courtney's work from their show on HGTV "Nine by Design." However, if you're not familiar with their work, let me introduce you to their one-of-a-kind upbeat design aesthetic! I love that these interiors are bright and colorful without being cluttered. The simple backdrops and white walls allow each piece of furniture to speak for itself.

I just met some new clients last week that I think are going to be a blast to work with. They mentioned that they're inspired by this design duo so I thought I'd feature them today as a way to get my brain ticking :)

Monday Updates: Another bathroom

Last week I showed you some pictures of a bathroom I'm working on. Well, this week I have some photos of another bathroom as well. I know, more boring before shots. But I promise the "afters" will be here soon enough! This project is in the finishing stages and is on the contemporary side.

As you can see, this bathroom is in need of some updates. 

Actually, the wallpaper that was in here wasn't too bad (I think its even better in person than this photo shows) I guess if you hold on to some things long enough, they'll be back in style when it comes around again, haha!

Dream Gait Friesians Tour

Over the weekend my husband and I went to a get-together at the stables of "Dream Gait Friesians," a large privately owned horse farm outside of Dayton, Ohio. With mutual friends of the owners, we got an up close, one-of-a-kind tour with these gorgeous horses! The farm ain't too shabby either.

Here I am getting some horsey lovins. They were all very sweet and personable. This is the male barn and in the background you can see a huge indoor riding arena that leads to yet another barn for the females. Pretty nice digs!
