Guest Bathroom Reveal

Remember this bathroom? It's finally finished and I'm so excited to share the end result with you! This was a project completed alongside A.E. Fickert, a local Dayton restoration and remodeling company.

Once again, here is the before:

And here is the After:

An idea we considered was to incorporate the existing soffit into the new design. I thought it could make a cool design feature by removing the old fluorescent lighting inside of it and adding can lights up inside of it flush with the ceiling. That way you would have light coming straight down on and highlighting the decorative fixtures, like the sink and faucet, as well as more functional light coming out on your face from the sconces. Light on your face is very important in the bathroom, especially if the bathroom is used for makeup/hair and getting ready. No one wants to look ghostly with overhead lighting!

Here is the Before:

And here is the After:

Overall I'm very pleased with how this bathroom turned out. We mixed greys and tans, which isn't an easy task, but the end result is a very warm contemporary aesthetic. The clients were a pleasure to work with and they're happy with their new bathroom!
